• Organizer – the natural or legal person using the UpEventi platform to publish or manage events.

By creating an account, filling out forms, purchasing tickets, or using any functionality, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

UpEventi offers users the ability to:

UpEventi acts as an intermediary between organizers and participants and is not a direct organizer of events, except where clearly specified.

5. User Rights and Obligations

5.1. Users are Obligated to:

• not post content that violates applicable laws or other people’s rights;
• follow all instructions displayed on the Site.

5.2. UpEventi Reserves the Right to:

6. Payments and Billing

For paid events, transactions are securely processed through authorized payment processors. UpEventi does not store or have access to bank card data.
Displayed prices include all applicable taxes unless otherwise specified.

7. Cancellation and Refund Policy

The refund policy varies by event and is established exclusively by the organizer.
UpEventi is not responsible for ticket refund refusals or changes in the event schedule.
In case of event cancellation, the organizer is responsible for informing participants and refunding paid amounts according to their policies.

8. Intellectual Property

The Site’s content (texts, images, logos, design, source code, etc.) is protected by copyright and cannot be copied, distributed, or modified without UpEventi’s written consent.
Any violation of these rights may result in civil or criminal liability under applicable law.

9. Limitation of Liability

UpEventi makes constant efforts to ensure optimal Site operation, however:

• does not guarantee the absence of technical errors or temporary interruptions;
• is not responsible for content posted by users or organizers;
• cannot be held liable for financial losses, damages, or disputes resulting from interaction between organizers and participants.

10. Confidentiality and Data Protection

UpEventi processes personal data in accordance with European legislation (GDPR).
All collected information is used exclusively for providing services and is not transmitted to third parties without the user’s explicit consent.

11. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for non-performance of obligations if this is due to a force majeure event (natural disasters, fires, wars, internet interruptions, etc.).

12. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

Any dispute will be resolved amicably, and in the absence of an agreement, disputes will be resolved by the competent courts in Romania.
